Rotary Club Of Asaba Government House,D9141 Nigeria.

Rotary Club Of Asaba Government House had an interactive session with Primary & Secondary students of Azagba Primary School & Isioma Onyeobi College both located in the capital territory, Asaba in Delta State. The humanitarian/non-profit organisation distributed primary and secondary school textbooks and gave the children both health & Career talks. It was also very emotional for some parents/people present as tears were seen in some eyes. The Rotary Club of Asaba Government House donated Primary and Secondary School text books, Dictionaries and other customised items to the pupils/students. The Club President, Rtn. (Amb). Christopher Daniels (Phf)  encouraged the students to be of good behaviour always and encouraged other organization/association to emulate same. He also offered prices for all 1st Position in all classes ranging from primary 1 - SS3 to promote excellence.

Also, during the Rotary club's visit to the Azagba primary school wing, most of the pupils were looking rough and wearing torn uniform without school sandals. The Immediate Past President of the Rotary Club, Rtn. Olisamedua Eboka engaged the President who later authorised/approved the immediate purchase of uniforms to 7 pupils(paid cash) who their parents couldn't afford to buy them new uniforms.

Furthermore, during the exercise the Past & Present Assistant Governors of Rotary International District 9141, Rtn. Comrade Maureen Ofugara  & Rtn. Joe ikpo (respectively) both joined the Rotary Club exercise and also promised to return before June/July 2018 to give rewards/Scholarship to students of good behaviour and excellent academic grading.

A vote of thanks was given by both the Headmaster & Principal of the Primary & Secondary Schools respectively.

The Rotary International through her clubs especially those in Zone 8, District 9141 have continued to be a gift to the people of Asaba and it's environs.

The Rotary theme for the year - "Making a difference" has indeed spur Rotarians worldwide to make the set difference in their various areas of life.

We specially appreciate the good work of the Rotary Club of Asaba Government House, led by the Ultimate President, Rtn.(Amb). Christopher Daniels and encourage other organisation/association should emulate same.
