He believed it was the only way he could free himself from a life of crime — a life he desperately wanted to change.  After being arrested for a fourth time more than 10 years ago, for aggravated robbery, the teenager in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, was set to go to prison. But the judge saw something in Stephenson that suggested that he could redeem himself. March 1, 2018 RC AWKA-SMITHTOWN HELD ANOTHER LECTURE In keeping with the ideals of Rotary procedure of fellowship and membership engagement, Rtn Tochi Amalu PHF yesterday continued in the Club's lecture series by delivering a resounding lecture on the topic "WHAT IS IN ROTARY FOR YOU? ". The high point of the event was the declaration for Rotary membership by four (4) Guests, two of whom are couple. With the ideals of Family of Rotary in mind, the monthly birthday celebration was held as well for the February born Rotarians and guests. Our AGD Sebastian Anaekwe later made a presentation on behalf of the DGE Dan Ajawara. Let's continue to Make a Difference; as the Inspiration for tomorrow begins today.

Rotary Club Of Asaba Government House had an interactive session with Primary & Secondary students of Azagba Primary School & Isioma Onyeobi College both located in the capital territory, Asaba in Delta State. The humanitarian/non-profit organisation distributed primary and secondary school textbooks and gave the children both health & Career talks. It was also very emotional for some parents/people present as tears were seen in some eyes. The Rotary Club of Asaba Government House donated Primary and Secondary School text books, Dictionaries and other customised items to the pupils/students. The Club President, Rtn. (Amb). Christopher Daniels (Phf)  encouraged the students to be of good behaviour always and encouraged other organization/association to emulate same. Rotary Oratory Competition  The Rotary Oratory Competition is a project initiated by the Rotary Club of South Jacksonville in 2015. Each year the Club’s speech committee approaches the principals and speech teachers of the 45 public and private schools on the First Coast (Baker, Clay, Duval, Nassau and St. Johns counties) to choose a high school senior who would like to represent their school in an oratory competition.
